Arthur Thomas is an Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, Justice of the Peace and a founding partner of Thomas, John & Weste with over 30 years’ experience across a range of fields including banking and securities law, civil litigation, corporate consultancy, land law, commercial law, intellectual property, insurance and industrial law, wills and probate, international tax counseling, business management and administrative services, residency and other immigration matters, trusts, foundations and other International business structures, company formations and the provision of other corporate services, notarial services and general legal services. In addition to his professional commitments, Arthur takes particular interest in the environment and is keen on photography, the arts and culture.

Kelvin John was admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law since 1993 in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the Commonwealth of Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda and St. Lucia. He is an Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public and a founding partner of Thomas, John & Weste with over 28 years’ experience across a range of fields such as civil matters including commercial, corporate, real estate, banking, investment, matrimonial and family inheritance disputes.

Executive Masters in Business Administration (with distinction) EMBA, Center for Management Development University of the West Indies, Barbados;

Served as an acting Master of High Court in Antigua, St. Vincent, and St. Lucia. Also served on appointments as an Acting High Court Judge of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court of Tortola, British Virgin Islands in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Certified High Court Mediator of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court since 2004 and has served as Mediator in Antigua, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, St Kitts and Nevis, and Montserrat.
In January 2020 Kelvin obtained certification as a CEDR Accredited Mediator (UK).
In February to July 31, 2020, obtained an ADR Training of Mediation Trainers Certification (Rome, Italy).
In August 2020 was admitted to the Panel of Mediators for The Arbitration & Mediation Court of the Caribbean (AMCC) ~ International Alternative Dispute Resolution Services in Bridgetown Barbados.
Served as President of the Council of the Antigua and Barbuda Bar Association and as Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Council of the Bar Association of Antigua and Barbuda, from 2010 to 2012.

On the 24th of October, 2014, Kelvin was appointed and serves presently as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Finland in Antigua and Barbuda.

Loy L.A. Weste, LLB (Hons) (UWI) L.E.C., LL.M.
Loy Weste was called to the Antigua Bar in 2007 and is presently engaged in Civil work, Industrial Law, both litigious and non-litigious, corporate legal services, bankruptcy, receivership and insolvency proceedings, criminal law, constitutional/administrative litigation, Wills and Probates, Family and Personal Injury.
Loy read law at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Bridgetown, Barbados from 2001-2004, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws Degree, Second-Class Honours. From 2005-2007, he attended the Norman Manley Law School, Kingston, Jamaica where he completed the Legal Education Certificate, thereby allowing him to practice in all areas of the English-speaking Caribbean.
Loy possesses a Masters of Law in Information Technology and Internet Law. For over 10 years, Loy has lectured Business Law and several other Law Courses at the University of the West Indies, Antigua State College Campus and presently at the Five Islands Campus. He has also taught several Law courses with the University of the Southern Caribbean. Loy is the Corporate Secretary of the Caribbean Union Bank.
Lisa M. John Weste, LL.B. (1st Cl. Hons) (UWI) L.E.C., LL.M.
Lisa John Weste was called to the Antigua Bar in 2007 and is presently engaged in Civil work, in particular Corporate and Commercial Law, Banking and Financial law, Conveyancing, Mortgages, Company, Commercial, Wills and Probates, Family and Personal Injury, and both litigious and non-litigious legal services.
Lisa read law at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Bridgetown, Barbados from 2002-2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws Degree, First-Class Honours. From 2005-2007 she attended the Norman Manley Law School, Kingston, Jamaica where she completed the Legal Education Certificate, thereby allowing her to practice in all areas of the English-speaking Caribbean.
Lisa possesses a Master in Corporate and Commercial Law with University of London, England which she completed in 2009 with Merit. For over 13 years, Lisa has lectured Business Law and other Law courses at the Antigua & Barbuda International Institute of Technology. She has also taught several law courses at the University of the West Indies, Antigua Extension Campus, and is a Business Law Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Five Islands Campus. She has been a Member of the Antigua Medical Council from 2014 to present. Lisa is also a Board Member of the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre and Chairperson of the Human Resource Sub-Committee of the Board.

Arthur G. B. Thomas Jr. is a junior associate who was called to the Bar in Antigua and Barbuda in 2019. Over the last two years at the firm, he has taken on a varied practice in areas such as Criminal Law, Probate, Conveyancing and other related land matters, Civil Litigation, and the incorporation, administration and liquidation of both local and offshore companies. Thomas has also gained considerable experience and has a keen interest in practice related to Blockchain, Digital Assets and Cryptocurrencies.
Thomas received a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the University of the West Indies at the Cave Hill Campus in 2017. He further obtained a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago in 2019.
In addition to his legal practice, Thomas is the First Year Law Lecturer at the Antigua State College in the Department of Liberal Arts. He is also the Lecturer of the Introduction to Law Course at the Antigua State College School of Pharmacy.
Thomas is engaged in other professional groups and activities. Notably, he is a founding member and current President of Initiate Spark Inc., a non-profit.
Michael L. John, LLB (Hons) (UWI) L.E.C
Michael John was called to the Antigua Bar in 2019 and is presently engaged in Civil work, Industrial Law, both litigious and non-litigious, corporate legal services, Conveyancing, Criminal law, Company, constitutional/administrative litigation, Wills and Probates, Family Work and Personal Injury.
Michael read law at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Bridgetown, Barbados from 2014-2017, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Laws Degree (2nd Class Honours) on the 1st day of July, 2017. Michael attended the Council of Legal Education’s two-year programme of legal practice, study and training of the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica, from 2017 to 2019. He was awarded the Council of Legal Education’s Legal Education Certificate on the 6th day of September, 2019.
In addition to his legal practice, Michael is the Second Year Law Lecturer at the Antigua State College in the Department of Liberal Arts.
Michael is engaged in other professional groups and activities. Notably, he is a founding member and current Vice President of Initiate Spark Inc., a non-profit.
